AI is getting better, fast. Keeping up is the hard part.

AI development is speeding up, and the tools are getting better and easier to use inside a business like yours. There's real value in it now. Working out which tools fit your business, and what they would cost, is a job in itself, and it shouldn't have to be yours.

01

Faster every month

New models, new tools and new AI features in software you already pay for. Something that wasn't worth it in the spring can be worth it by the autumn.

02

Bolted on and billed

Your software suppliers are adding AI to everything and charging extra for it. Some of it is worth the money. Some of it does what your team already does in ten minutes.

03

Already in the building

Your team is probably using free AI tools already, sometimes with customer details pasted in. Nobody has said what's allowed, or where that data ends up.

What AI can do in your business today.

These are jobs AI already does well in businesses like yours. Pick an area to see what's possible.

Find out with a free month

The questions that decide whether AI pays.

From Advisory up, you get regular calls with the person who writes your report. That's where the report turns into decisions: what to switch on, what to stop paying for, and what to keep in-house.

Is there a cheaper or better model for what we do?

Often, yes. New models arrive and prices change every month, and the one you started with is often no longer the best value. We check what you use against what's available now, and tell you when switching would cost less or do the job better.

Where does our data actually go?

Every AI tool sends your words somewhere. We find out where, who can read them and whether they are used to train someone else's model, then fix what needs fixing. That is AI sovereignty in practice: knowing where your data goes, and choosing.

Could we run it ourselves?

More often than a year ago. Open models that fit on one office machine or a UK-hosted server now handle plenty of everyday work: drafting, summarising, reading documents. We tell you which of your jobs could run on kit you control, what it would cost, and when it isn't worth the bother.

Are we paying for the right tools?

It's easy to pay for AI twice: a chatbot subscription here, an add-on in your email there, both doing the same job. We go through what you pay for, what actually gets used, and what would do the job better for less.

What if a supplier changes the deal?

Prices rise, models get retired and terms change, sometimes at a month's notice. We plan for it: no supplier you can't walk away from, and a fallback for anything the business relies on.

What should our people be allowed to use?

Your team is probably using AI already. We help you decide what's approved, what must never be pasted in and who to ask, then put it on one page people will actually read.

One report a month, read against your business.

A newsletter is written for everyone. Your report starts from your KPIs and the way you work, and leaves out everything that doesn't touch them.

01 · ONCE

We learn your KPIs and how you work

A scope call at the start: the numbers you're measured on, the software you run, the jobs that eat the most time, and the data that can't leave the building. That becomes your profile, and it changes when the business does.

02 · EVERY MONTH

We keep up with AI for you

New models, open and paid. New tools. AI arriving in software you already use. Price changes, and changes to the rules on using AI in the UK. All of it checked against your profile.

03 · START OF THE MONTH

You get the few that matter

Each one in plain English, with what it would cost, what it would replace, and a verdict. Ignore is a verdict too: it's how you avoid paying for the wrong thing.

What the verdicts mean

  • Act

Worth doing now. We say how, and what it costs.

  • Try

Worth a small trial before you commit.

  • Watch

Not yet. We'll tell you when that changes.

  • Ignore

Not for you, whatever the sales email says.

Inside every report

  1. Your verdicts

Every release that touches your business, rated act, try, watch or ignore, with the reason in a sentence.

  2. Cost against your KPIs

What each one would cost, and what it could save, measured against the numbers you run the business on.

  3. Already paid for

AI features arriving in software you already pay for, and whether they're worth switching on.

  4. Cheaper or better models

When something beats what you use on price or quality, and what switching would take.

  5. Your data

Changes to where your tools send your data, or to the terms they run on.

  6. The rules

Changes to UK rules on using AI, in plain English, and whether they touch you.

  7. How to set it upFrom Advisory

Setup steps and rough costs for everything rated act or try.

  8. Our recommendationIn-house

A written recommendation for every act item, checked against your setup.

Three tiers. Each one goes deeper.

Every tier starts with the monthly report. Going up adds detail to the report, time with the person who writes it, and help putting it to work.

What you won't get from us.

01

No commission

We don't resell AI tools or take a cut from anyone we recommend. If we say something is worth buying, it's because it's worth it to you.

02

No jargon

If we can't explain it in plain English, it doesn't go in your report.

03

No AI for the sake of it

Plenty of months the right answer is to change nothing. Your report will say so, and so will we.

Questions worth asking.

Is this just a newsletter?

No. A newsletter is written for everyone who signs up. Your report starts from your KPIs, the software you run and the work you do, and leaves out everything that doesn't touch them. Two firms on the same tier get two different reports.

We're not a tech business. Is it for us?

It's mainly for businesses that aren't. If someone on your team follows AI full time, you may not need us. If nobody does, that's the job we take on: reading all of it, and turning the few things that matter into plain English and a clear next step.

What does AI sovereignty mean for a business our size?

Three things. Knowing where your data goes when anyone in the business uses AI, and who can read it. Not leaning on one supplier so hard that a price rise or a change of terms leaves you stuck. And, where it makes sense, running some of the work on machines you control, in your office or on UK hosting. You don't have to do all three, but you should know where you stand on each.

Will we need to buy hardware?

Probably not, and never without a reason. Most firms get a long way with tools they already pay for. Where running a model yourself does make sense, we trial it on your own work first and tell you what it would cost before you spend anything.

Can you build an AI on our own data?

Yes. For most businesses that means connecting a model to your own documents and records, so its answers come from your material and show where they came from, and sometimes tuning one on your past work so it writes the way you do. Training a model from scratch is rarely worth it at your size, and we will say so. Where your data is sensitive it can run on your own kit or UK hosting. It is scoped and priced like any other build, separately from the retainer.

What do you need from us to start?

Pick a tier and fill in a short form: your name, the business and how to reach you. We check it's a real business, then book a scope call to learn your KPIs and how the business runs: the software you use, the jobs that eat the most time, and anything that must never leave the building. That becomes your profile, and your first report follows at the start of the next month, free.

What's the catch with the free month?

There isn't one, but there is a check. Every report is real work, so we confirm you're a real, trading business before we book the scope call. After the first month you pick a tier, or stop there and owe nothing.

Can we change tier, or stop?

Yes. It's month to month. Move up or down at the start of any month, or stop with a month's notice. The reports you've had are yours to keep.

Who writes the report, and who is on the calls?

The same person. OFO is a three-person studio, so there is no account manager in between: whoever reads the month's releases and writes your report is who you talk to.

Do you build things too?

Yes, it's our day job: OFO builds bespoke operations software for UK businesses. If something in your report is worth building, we scope it like any other build, free and at a fixed price, and it is priced separately from the retainer.

Try it for a month, totally risk free.

Tell us about your business. We check it's a real business, book a scope call to learn your KPIs and how it runs, and write your first month's report for free. There are no payment details to give and nothing to cancel. If the honest answer is that you don't need us yet, we'll say so.
